I should have paid closer attention before I bought this. It does not stay open on its own. Which means I need two hands to find my passwords. And that is difficult to do while trying to type the password into the computer.
At first I thought it was larger than I liked but found it was easier to find the size because nothing I own is left where I put it. Like the layout.. After several computer crashes I really appreciate having a back up. Because it isn't lockable nor fits in products we have for locking valuables in, I do not keep any financial information in it.
I know it seems silly to buy password keeper for all your website. Why not just write it on a piece of paper. Because eventually the list just gets longer and longer and there will be no organization to your list. This password keeper keeps your passwords for each site organized alphabetically. I know some sites mandate a password change every so often, so I write my passwords in pencil just in case I need to change them. Also this notebook is small enough to keep my tote bag.
This product wasn't what I expected, it was smaller, paper and had no tabs. I should have read more and not picked out a design without checking the specs, for what it's worth, it does have several pages for each alpha letter for web and name addresses. I really don't use it much.
EVERY WEBSITE DEMANDS A USERNAME + PASSWORD AND A SECURITY QUESTION TO JOG YOUR MEMORY SHOULD YOU FORGET EITHER OR ALL OF THESE😕😕 If u feel that awful suddenly dumbstruck feeling whenever faceed with providing the info - THIS IS THE PASSWORD LOG 4U!!! Unlike other logs I've owned this one's simple and straightforward requiring ONLY info to get u logged in. Not unnecessary info such as Intent Protocol and other useless info that those of us who ain't technophobes need. THIS IS THE CORRECT AND BEST LOG 4U.😜
I do like this; It makes me nervous to write down passwords (I try to keep them in a sort of "code" for myself) but I needed it because I have to access so many websites at work and have to keep track. One minus I do wish it had letter tabs so I could find things more quickly. Another minus It is a little pricey for what it is, but I couldn't resist the graphic on the cover. I might buy it again; it depends on what else is on the market next time I need to purchase one.
This will do for now. It would be great if it didn't say "Password Log" on the cover, allowing something of high security to remain that way. I knew this when I purchased it but realize it does bug me. The cover is lightweight and curled up like a low quality paperback. A mini-Moleskin soft cover book used to serve this purpose and was better with this issue. There's a lot of space to write notations about the "account" you list. Keeping my eye out for something I may like better down the line.
This past Christmas I decided to give password books with gifts for friends and family members. I've found my own to be super useful and am writing this review to share a comparison of the ones I purchased here on .

Book #2 is similar to my own and is currently available here, The Personal Internet Address & Password Log Book (Like mine, it has cut out tabs in the pages, two letters per tab.)
Book #3 is the smaller but thicker, spiral bound, white book, BookFactory® Password Journal / Password Diary / Mini Pocket Passwords Notebook, 120 Pages - 3 1/2" x 5 1/4", Durable Thick Translucent Cover, High Quality Wire-O Binding (JOU-120-MCW-A-(Password)) (This one is handy if you want the ability to hold it in one hand while writing on either side. The others will only open like a regular book.)
Book #4 is the larger book with a bright geometric cover, Password Journal Password Keeper / Music Gifts ( Internet Address Logbook / Diary / Notebook ) (Password Journals - Music (Carnvial)) (This one has noticeably lighter ink inside but definitely stands out on a bookshelf.)
Book #5 is the larger black book with butterflies on it, Password Log (An Internet Address and Password Journal) (I like that the ink is printed nice and dark so I gifted this one to my mom since her eyesight is not what it used to be.)
I'd say the first two have the best covers in terms of long range durability. I like the tabs but you might not if you don't like the idea of them being two letters at a time. I think all five have nice paper. Hopefully the photos give you a good idea for size and comparison of features.
Lastly, I'll recommend some pencils. Since passwords can change, it makes sense to write in these books in pencil. These ones write well and erase easier than others I've used (funny as that sounds), Bic Xtra Fun Ultra Solid Break Resistant #2 Pencils (8 Count)
I'd recommend all of these password books. Numbers 2, 3, & 5 I'd say are the best choices (beyond that I think it depends on current pricing, your handwriting size, and overall preferences). Buy with confidence! Smile. Hope this is helpful!
